Is anyone familiar with 'Fat Loss 4 Idiots' download?
I would really like to know what it is and how/if it works before shelling out twenty bucks!
I've never used it, but here are some user reviews.
Honestly, your best bet would be to pay for a session with a nutritionist (If you're unsure of how to eat a well balanced diet) and spend a few sessions with a personal trainer. It will get you on the right track.
If you can't afford to pay for those, I highly suggest getting a subscription to Shape magazine. There are TONS of great at home moves every month, healthy recipes, and lots of healthy lifestyle tips. Cooking Light is also great for healthy recipes. In all honesty, you don't miss the fat in their recipes-at all. You still feel like you're eating a good home cooked meal, just minus the bad stuff!
If you have any specific questions, feel free to e-mail me.
What is the fastest way to burn fat?
One of my friends is trying to lose some weight. However, he's going about it all wrong. I have no idea what to tell him because I'm super skinny, but I eat nothing but junk food. I want to help him, but I just don't know what to tell him to do to burn fat.
Cardio is probably the exercise that works the most consistently throughout any Weight Loss regimen. Whether it be running, joggin, walking, aerobics, or dance. Any of those, along with other simple, everyday cardio could go a long, long way.
Dieting is probably the fastest way to lose weight, but definitely do not crash diet, starve, binge, or any of the dangerous kinds of weight loss.
1) Eating with sizable portions (main meals small, constant small snacks)
2) Eating vegetables/fruits (best for munching on as a snack, and in small doses for main meals and sides)
3) Never getting on the scale (at least, not until a sizable time has passed by. Constent looking at the scale could cause a confidence boost leading to lack of exercising and dieting, or can lead to confidence fall leading to lack of will power)
4) Having other people do it, also.
5) NO SODA OR ALCOHOL!
6) Having an "anything" meal once a week. This meal can be anything and everything, but limited to one meal per week.
Working on core exercises helps target certain areas of the body. If your friend feels like s/he has ab problems, try doing some core exercises such as sit ups, crunches, or any other targeting exercises in his/her spare time. Almost any exercise can be done while watching tv, listening to the radio, etc.
The best way to keep the person involved and willing is to have others doing the same thing, supporting each other, and being healthy together. If you feel your friend is important, you may take on one of the aspects of becoming healthy (not all, if you don't want) and help him/her out!
Good question!
Chinese Green Tea for Weight Loss
For most people, the Chinese green tea is a stuff of legends. this tea has been known to be very beneficial to human health. For thousands of years, Chinese tea has been talked about and written about because of its countless positive effects.
According to legend, the first person to ever taste this herbal drink was the Emperor Shen Nung in 2737 B.C. It was said that while boiling some water for drinking, some leaves fell into his pot from a tree nearby. these green leaves when boiled smelled and tasted so wonderful that Shen Nung even urged his people to drink it. The fame of the tea did not stay at one place for long. It is believed that in A.D. 800, Chinese tea was brought to Japan by monks who studied Buddhism in China.
What makes this healty drink different from all other tea’s?
This is Because it is produced from Camellia sinensis, the same plant where the oolong and black tea are derived. Yet, even though they all come from the same herb, the Chinese leaves truly stands out as an exceptional health drink. So what makes this drink different?
The difference lies in the method by which Chinese people produced it. Oolong and black leaves are traditionally oxidized and then dried while it’s steamed and then dried. This method of producing the tea actually preserves most of the beneficial antioxidants present in it.
Chinese Green Tea for Health
While it is already common knowledge that green tea has several health benefits, modern scientists were able to provide several concrete proofs of the positive effects of it. The drink antioxidants are said to be the ones responsible for making the drink very beneficial.
Recent findings show that the antioxidants in Chinese tea can reduce cholesterol levels in a person; can improve how blood vessels function; and can reduce blood lipids. It was also discovered that this drink can have an anti-inflammatory effects and may provide protection against cardiovascular diseases.
this causes Weight Loss
Significant findings were made that pointed to the benefits of green tea in Weight Loss. According to the researchers of the University of Geneva, it has thermogenic properties which aid much in weight loss. In their study, they investigated the weight loss benefits of the hot drink by observing the interaction between the caffeine in the chinease drink and a compound called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). When these two substances in it react, thermogenesis of the body increases by four percent. The tendency it is to enhance metabolic rates has given people reason to believe that green coffee has weight loss benefits as well.
Another study concerning the weight loss benefits of the drink was also conducted. The results of the research showed that tea drinkers have a better propensity for weight loss. Drinking it allows the body to burn an additional 70 calories a day, a feat that weight loss enthusiasts would relish.
Today, it is widely available as a beverage and as an ingredient for weight loss products.

does the fat loss 4 idiots diet really work?
Yes, it does work. Using it, I have lost more than 50 lbs and I am still losing weight. It works if you have will power and can resist the temptation to cheat. You have to follow it exactly as it says. If you can do that, you will have wonderful results. Good luck.
Can one burn fat specifically on buttocks and waist by exercising in a certain way?
im pretty thin but i have remaining fat on buttocks and waist that wont go away. Any specific type of exercise i can do to burn it off ?
You can not target fat burn. Unless you do lipo ( which i do not recommend ). Key is diet diet, then exercise.
You need to eat 5-6 small meals a day. Eat some protein with each meal! Cut out all refined sugar!!! Also add more fiber. The fiber and protein will fill you up, helping you to cut down on your unhealthy eating. Also by eating more than 3 meals spread out through the day you will kick your metabolism in high gear. Here is a general meal for a day:
Breakfast: 2 poached eggs
whole wheat toast
1/2 cup fruit
Snack: Cottage Cheese with veggie
Lunch: Turkey, lettuce, tomato, whole wheat bread sandwich
1/2 cup fruit
Snack: Protein Shake
Dinner: Turkey Burger ( no bun )
Side of brown rice
Side of Broc.
Then exercise regularly 4-5 days a week. Do both cardio and lifting. But on days that you do both. Do lifting before your cardio and you will maximize your fat burn. Cardio can be a sport: basketball, soccer, football, anything with losts of movement. Golf is a no no.
So Example :
Monday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio
Tuesday - 1 hour lifting
Wednesday - Rest
Thrusday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio
Friday - 1 hour lifting
Saturday - Rest
Sunday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio

what is fat loss 4 idiots?
there is an e-book called fat loss for idiots. If anyone has it , how about sharing it with me. i have purchased e-books in the past and find they don’t share much for the money. if you know the secrets or have the e-book to share please do.
If you need help to loose a few pounds, I recomend circut training and cardio exercises. This will help burn calories, the biggest issue peolpe have is to stay on a diet. Do not give in by any means and see results, myself coming back from a back injury, and a back surgey I went to eating things with out sugar, quit eating mayononise and Iwas some one that could’t eat any type of sandwich with out mayonise. This is the best real advice I can say, it takes detication and with the first two or three weeks you should start seeing a difference provided both a good balanced diet. A good diet should consist of fresh fruit with every meal, banana’s with dinner to help recover your body. Breakfast is where you can eat as much carbs and fruit as you want. make sure not to eat carbs after Breakfast. make sure to snack on nuts or celery or something small through out the day with some nutrional value, no a snickers won’t work. Lunch should be some proteins, dairy if low in fat or no fat. Try to stay away from fats other then nuts, the reason is the fat in nuts is the type of fat that your body needs. Not all those fats you can’t pronounce. Again something small like carrots as an afternoon snack. Dinner try not to eat later then 4 ours before you go to bed. As this time frame your body is most likely to just store and not burn what you ate. I recomend eating a salad with light dressing or try fruit to sweeten the salad, try not to use dressing if possible as this is where bad fat comes in. Nutrition is easily the biggest mistake people make. They don’t like to eat right. The reson you want to eat through out the day is to speed up that motablism and you will see results quicker. Hope this helps, have fun, eat right and be happy.
What is the best types of exercises to help burn fat but not really build muscle mass?
I am in search of a good aerobic type exercise other than walking, eliptical machines, and running that will help burn fat. Do not want to build any more muscle mass, just want to tone up more.
I do not need any more muscle mass. I have enough just want to keep fat off my bones!
Hi. Nobody has answered your question thus far.
Games playing (like soccer, tennis, hockey etc) are good, however be careful not to get injured.
You've covered walking, running and cross training.
Cycling. Swimming (non load bearing however), circuit training, skipping.
Anything that you can use to raise your heart rate to about 70% of HRMax will do the trick… and then sustain it for about 30 minutes.
Study on Green Tea and Weight Loss
For many years now, several benefits are attributed to drinking green tea. Today, researchers have come up with newer proofs to solidify the belief that it can be used as a treatment for obesity and for weight loss.
It is held that more than half of the American population have weight problems or are obese. Conditions like these are almost always linked to certain complications like heart disease, type 2 diabetes mellitus, sleep apnea, gall bladder disease, and hypertension. Weight loss can aid in assuaging the symptoms of some of these conditions.
Scientists have tirelessly investigated on the weight loss benefits of green tea. They have found that it can actually enhance the total amount of energy spent by the body. From their findings, they were able to deduce that green tea has great potential for a weight loss benefit.
Other researches were able to confirm the weight loss benefit of tea. A recent study at the University of Geneva had the conclusion that, Green tea has thermogenic properties and promotes fat oxidation beyond that explained by its caffeine content per se. Where before it was generally believed that the caffeine content in tea is the reason for its weight loss benefit, this recent study deviated from that theory. Green tea has other substances in them that are helpful in weight loss.
The same team who conducted the study on green tea’s caffeine content and Weight Loss banded together in Switzerland to perform another experiment. They were still able to come up with the same results that tea has several thermogenic attributes that make it perfect to use in any weight loss program.
Sample Studies: Green Tea and Weight Los
tea reduces body fat accretion caused by high-fat diet in rats through beta-adrenoceptor activation of thermogenesis in brown adipose tissue. Conducted by chief scientist J.J. Choo of the Department of Food and Nutrition, Kunsan National University, this study aimed to find out if green tea can suppress body fat and to find out whether this suppression is connected with thermogenesis spurred by the body’s beta-adrenoceptor being activated.
To investigate the weight loss benefit of tea on rats, the scientists placed their subjects on a high-fat diet and provided them with green tea extract. It was discovered that even though the rats were on a high-fat diet, the tea extract counterbalanced fat gain without affecting the amount of energy they took in. Green tea was said to have shown some weight loss benefits in the fact that it can prevent fat from being stored, can increase protein levels, and promote thermogenesis by triggering beta-adrenoceptor to action.
Recent findings of tea extract AR25 (Exolise) and its activity for the treatment of obesity. This study is a collaborative work between Doctors P. Chantre and D. Lairon of the Laboratoires Arkopharma in Carros, France. Published in the 2002 issue of Phytomedicine, this study aimed to find out if tea extract has weight loss benefits and can be a potential cure for obesity.
In their study, they used an 80% ethanolic concentrate in tea extract with standardized 25% catechins. They tested the green tea extract and were able to find that it could directly inhibit gastric and pancreatic lipases. These enzymes are the primary cause of fat storage and by delaying their actions; green tea extract therefore exhibits a weight loss benefit that can help solve obesity problems.
It was also discovered in this study that green tea can stimulate thermogenesis. Given to moderately obese patients, the tea extract was said to have caused a decrease in weight by 4.6% and a reduction of waist circumference by 4.48% after only three months. The findings of the study clearly implicate the weight loss benefits of green tea.
