Does the body burn more fat exercising when it’s hot or cold?
I’ve heard that warm muscles burn fat more effectively, but I’ve also heard that when it’s cold the body burns more calories trying to maintain a normal body temperature. Which is true?
ok here is your answer. When the temperature outside is hot like during the mid summer, yes your body will naturally desire less food and more liquid, resulting in either an easy maintanence of weight or a Weight Loss of some sort.
When the temperature gets cold in the winter, lets take the midwest for example (California doesn’t count) the body naturally wants to hold onto weight or pack on the "winter 10" to keep warm. So there you go, it is much easier to lose and burn in the summer than in the winter.
How can I burn fat when I’ve already built a ton of muscle?
I’m a black belt in karate and Im also on a summer league and highschool swimteam, and I weigh 167lbs. I don’t eat any differently than the healthier and slimmer girls on my swimteam and I actually excercise more in an attempt to lose weight and I don’t get why Im still overweight. I read somewhere that you can look bigger by building muscle under your fat, and I think that’s my problem. I always wondered why my legs were exceptionally big when my kicks in karate were so high and so powerful compared to everyone else’s in my class. When I heard about the "muscle under fat" idea, I was furious because I didn’t know how to burn fat instead of gain muscle. Swimming for my highschool includes running near a mile everyday and then jumping jacks, vertical jumps in and out of the pool, pushups, situps, crunches, and tons of other workouts that I thought would burn fat. HELP!!! : (

The optimum heart rate is obviously the highest you can reasonably get to.
The "fat burning" range is actually quite low. If you really want to see results, do intense cardio.

Hello, what are some exercises that I can do at home to burn fat off my body. My family and I go for evening walks but that doesn’t feel like enough exercise. I can’t go to the gym or take pills because I’m just a 14 year old. What are exercises that I can preform at home instead?
Do a cardio work out ( walking, jogging or running) in your target heart rate zone for at least 20 minutes a day. If you can do 30 minutes, that’s even better. To find your target heart rate you can go to WebMD.com or search for a target heart rate tool on the internet. Good luck!

hi, previously i had bought fat loss 4 idiots because I was trying to lose weight for past few months. Frankly, the program is good with some good advice and tips.
The diet plan foods of Fat Loss 4 Idiots are made up of:
i. Lean proteins,
ii. Fruit and vegetables, and
iii. Sources of fat come from whole foods (such as cottage cheese or eggs).
iv. Starchy carbohydrates (such as oats and pasta).
Divide your meals into 4 and that should be eaten at a minimum of 2 1/2 hours apart.
There is no calorie or carb counting, no limit on portion size, so eat until you feel your stomach is OK.
Intensive Exercise Will Not BURN FAT
The reason, intense aerobics and exercise only burn mainly carbohydrates for energy and not fat tissue.
If you over-exert yourself and your breathing (and heart rate) become too elevated then your body will burn mainly carbs.
However your goal is not to burn Carbohydrate Calories but to burn stored Body Fat.
The diet plans consists of 2 type:-
