Which is better to burn fat and lose weight?
I have about $500 to spend but I can’t decide between an elliptical or a treadmill. Which will burn more fat and I already lift weights so I want the one that will burn fat and help me lose weight but not burn my muscle off.
1. First start by getting up earlier than usual. Around 5:30 AM to do some of you workouts. Getting up early shocks your metabolism because the body needs more energy to get going. Right? This will start your system on the road to Weight Loss. That early start with about 10 minutes of stretching. Have a cup of coffee to get the blood going also.
2. Do all the sit-ups you can. Just do them. 15 or 20 whatever, we don’t have a lot of time to work with. Rest 1 minute repeat, do this for 6 sets. Already you are breathing hard and feel worn, because the body is working extra hard at being up earlier and then going right into exercise. If the early morning hour lets you get your cardio in, go ahead and do it. 30 minutes.
3. Diet. Cut all current meal portions in half, just cut them in half, nothing fancy or complicated, CUT IN HALF! Cut out all bread products, all gravies, candies, chips, night snacks, etc. If you crave at night eat a banana, other fruit or best a non-fat yogurt. There are some tasty ones out there.
4. In the evening do another 6 sets of sit-ups maxing out each set. Cardio again. The trick is to stay with getting up earlier. Yes it’s hard, that’s why it is so effective. Why do you think the Army gets up so early, it is intense training to the max.

Can anyone tell me from PERSONAL experience if the Sauna Belt works?
I have about 25 days to lose a jean size and get a flat tummy. I’m on a 1000 calorie diet and I work out every day (running) I’m wondering if the sauna belt will help my Weight Loss. ( I don’t really care how much weight I lose on the scale) I really just want a flat tummy, not a specific weight goal. I’ve read all about the "scams" blah blah blah. No offense but I just want a true review of the product from someone who has used it thanks
i used a sauna belt a couple of years ago but it didn’t flatten my tummy. however, i was neither exercising, nor on a strict diet.

The single most important fact that you should know about losing abdominal fat is that there is no magical formula that can make your abdominal fat vanish in a jiffy. Losing abdominal fat permanently requires patience and commitment to some basic tips. But do notlose heart. Glycogen (stored carbohydrates) is the primary fuel source during the first 10 minutes of an aerobic exercise. Substantial fat burning starts only after stored glycogen is depleted. Hence, the key to fat loss is working out at moderate intensity continuously for about 45 to 60 minutes. However, this comprises only 50% of the abdominal fat loss plan. The remaining 50% contribution comes from diet control. Abdominal exercises will help strengthen the muscles and give definition to the reducing midsection.
However, if your calorie intake is higher than your calorie expenditure, you are bound to put on abdominal fat as well as general body fat regardless of how diligently you work out and how many abdominal crunches you do a day- it is simple mathematics in action. Ideally, spread your calorie intake into five small meals a day instead of 2 or 3 big ones. Include a variety of foods that are rich in fiber and low in fat and sugar, with about 55% of the calories coming from carbohydrates, 30% from protein, and 15% from fat. Avoid carbohydrates late in the evening.
Remember, when it comes to losing abdominal fat, you have to adopt a holistic, whole-body approach as there are absolutely no shortcuts. A surgical shortcut like liposuction also becomes meaningless if you are not going to control to your diet, because removing fat cells from the abdomen by liposuction will lead to excess fat storage elsewhere and perhaps under the chin or on knees or shoulders- where it may look even worse than at the abdomen.
Lastly, here is a fact that is not exactly what you would want to hear: even if you are on a holistic exercise-cum-diet fat loss plan, abdominal fat is most likely going to be the last fat to leave your body.

What is THE best supplement to build muscle and burn fat?
I’ve been doing a lot of research into HGH (releasers), but I haven’t found a reliable source or product. I mainly need to burn some baby fat in my face.

Sorry for the tough love, but looking for a supplement should be the final icing on the cake - once you are already muscular and lean, then some supplements might help you go a step further. Acai berry is a waste of money and doesn’t work for Weight Loss. The juice may taste nice but won’t help you lose weight, nor will pills.
